The Digital Workshop offers the opportunity to explore and experiment new Digital Prototyping technologies providing students, faculty, and professional access to computer-controlled model-building services including laser cutting and 3D printing.
The Workshop is equipped with machines to help and encourage digital manufacturing techniques not only as a final proposal but also on the design process, complementing the traditional manufacturing process of creating end-use products eliminating much of the labor associated with traditional manufacturing.
Companies in a wide range of manufacturing industries recognize the importance of Digital Manufacturing for significantly improving their competitiveness in today’s volatile economy.
